I'm waiting for my order from Aircraftspruce to come with my NAS1352-08H12P socket head screws. They have the pre-drilled hole so that I can lock wire them once installed in the fuel tank access plate. Once I get those, I will finish sealing the tank and then pressure test it for leaks.
I also ordered some 6 feet of grommet edging M22529/2-1R for the lightning holes where the fresh air for the vent will go through.
I mounted the fuel tank onto the right wing and initially found that the seam leading edge seam was way out of whack and it wouldn't sit right. After removing the tank and finding some proseal witness marks,
I spent some time cleaning and removing the proseal from the rib and replaced it...a much nicer fit. I did have a little pillowing, but I didn't have the tank bolted down to the spar yet. I'll wait to do that first after the testing before I remedy that.
